This cache is in Moon Lake Park in Luzerne county. It has been placed for the Trash & Trout in PA 2004 CITO event.
Start off on "Natures Way" and hike some more. The trailhead is accross from the park office. The cache is located along well marked trails. You shouldn't have to do any bushwhacking. |

I really hated that I didn't get the opportunity to do the night time bushwacking thing at the CITO, but today was an awesome day for a short hike and cache find.

Open Log: Unrestricted I wasn't the one who actually found the cache - that honor goes to one of TrustyLizard's kids! In fact I was one of a pretty good size group that got talked into doing this as a night cache. We were all camping the night before the Trash & Trout in PA event and got to this one just before midnight. All the kids in the group were leading the way and we bushwacked the entire way! And of course none of the kids were carrying the GPS units, so it was interesting. Thanks for placing this so I'd get my second night cache (and the first was on trails!). Took nothing, left an Alaska magnet.

Found this cache about 11:40 in the evening. A group of 10 of us decided to go get this on a first finders hunt. TL Jr spotted it first once we got to the right area. And we got ther by bushwaking, yes bushwaking! It was fun going through the woods for 0.4 miles, Wow, what a far distance. Quit yer bellyaching all of ya, if you knew where the trail was in the pitch dark you should hav spoken up before we were deep in the woods. It was a great hike, thanks IMLost!
