In keeping with my preference for high places, here is a neat one. There are a myriad of trails around Mount Jeffrey, and most of them are on public land.

The cache is at approximately 470 metres altitude, and has great views of the Saanich Peninsula and Gulf Islands, much better than lower down on the Trans Canada highway.

Had a great hike in from the Spectacle Lake side coming through after picking up the Northwest View cache. Some bushwacking required.

Wow! What elevation gain! It was a fantastic view from the top, as is typical with Mariner caches. Thanks for an awesome trip!
