At Waypoint "B", the NaviCache, you'll find the usual logbook, self-photo camera & goodies for exchange at equal value (please tell us what you swap). There's the "Seabreeze Turtle", a hitchhiker for moving on to other caches (taken 7/3/01). You may want a $10 certificate to Sullivan's Charbroil (taken 7/3/01), camping gear, or the popular WheresGeorge.com dollar bills for free tracking. I've also included some garbage bags to fulfill our caching motto: cache in, trash out.

This NaviCache is a short walk in an area that's entertaining for the whole family. The solution involves observation, simple addition & subtraction. Your GPS will have a very accurate view of 8-10 satellites.

Starting at Waypoint "A", you'll find a key 4 digit number.

Subtract 420 from the key. Subtract this answer from the "A" latitude to get the "B" latitude.

Subtract 455 from the key. Add this answer to the "A" longitude to get the "B" longitude.

Clue decoding tables - Top letter or symbol decodes to bottom letter or symbol:

Clues:    Do you normally cheat?

  • It's a "sure bet"
    The "Master" is the key

Hmmm, 2 questionable reports from 2 ace detectives...I better fly in from India this coming weekend to check the cache. LOL.

Artimes or Quinn: next time you're at Vic & Irv's getting some rings (and I know you will be), please check for me. TIA.

Yardboy, you might want to check this cache. We attempted this cache today, and found the key number. Did the math, and walked to the nearby cache site. There were were several fisherman nearby, so I looked, while trying to appear casual. The coords appear to be about 20 feet off the bank. But I searched the bank, and found nothing. It is pretty public in the area. I think it might be gone. Another off the wall idea...maybe the key number changed?

Looked for this cache last week but didn't find it. Decided we must have made a mistake at the first waypoint and went back with something to help us see the numbers a little better (eyes are getting too old)! We were right and plugged this into the formulas. Got the same answers as before and headed back to the second waypoint. We looked everywhere in the area for the second time and could not find the cache. We decided we are either in the wrong place, the cache is missing, or we are missing a clue. We'll see if someone else has better luck.

Did part A yesterday with my wife, but ran out of time. Did part B this afternoon with my son and daughter-in-law. They really enjoyed the search and we all were impressed with your hiding spot. We took a Where's George Dollar and left a Burger King keychain that I took from Quinn's Genesee River Cache May 28th. I took a photo of the kids and they took a photo of me, the bearded guy with the Alalskan Amber tee shirt. Thanks for a great time. We enjoyed the cool breeze on such a warm day.

Found this one with Caron. Yardboy, I am glad you placed this one, it's funny how something can be in a place like this and still be so much fun to go after. I had a great time! You still almost had me there for a second. But caron slapped me in the head called me stupid and pointed me in the right direction. You seem to be good at making me scratch my head, I Intend on getting even with you very soon!

I signed your logbook and traded wheres georges, I made sure we were unseen and also took a picture of us together.
We then replaced cache in it's home and went on our merry little way. wahhhh-hooo!

Well turn about is fair play.. The Delta team decided it would go out for dinner and low and behold a Cache was near by. We had no troulble finding the necessary tools to get where we needed to be. But I will warn against coming if the lake has a wave advisory, could be trouble for young or mature cachers. As we all practice the art of Cache in Trash out... There was much to be seen around. We bring our own bags for trash, as it is seen by our team from time to time. We logged in and exchanged. Nice hide, and a great dinner out!
