The Welcome Center itself is open from 10 to 5 Monday through Saturday, and 11 to 4 on Sunday.

This is a letterbox. Please bring your own ink pad and pencil. The Welcome Center here is a must see. Please, sign the guest log and take a little time to browse the center. Mrs. Whitley is a wealth of info. She gave us permission to place our letterbox here. There is a trail open and it is very scenic. We'd rate the view there along with any we've seen in the Smokie Mountains! When the trails are finished, there should be about 6 miles of them to hike. Please, don't cheat yourselves by rushing in and out. Take your time. You won't be disappointed! Have fun!

Very beautiful trail. I went out after work today with my daughter (16 months old). She really loves to get outdoors. Stamped the log. I found the cache just laying on the ground, so I put it back where it should go. It was also a little damp.
