The cache is an olive green plastic drybox. The terrain is rocky and brushy and you will have to do some climbing around to negotiate the area.
This cache has an interesting history. It is hidden in a beautiful spot but was almost archived due to lack of maintence. It is my goal as foster owner is to keep this cache active and healthy. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions you may have. also, because I live nearby people who would not feel comfortable going alone, you can contact me and I can come, or find someone to go with you. Open Log: Unrestricted I was really looking forward to doing this cache after reading all of the great logs. It seemed like it might be a disappointing park and grab when we got out of the car with less than .1 mile to go but things got better in a hurry. The terrain was, shall we say, interesting. We observed ample evidence of Porcupine during the course of our climbing around and I think that it might not be a good idea to go exploring that cave unless you want a face full of quills. I left AP and DJ to the last bit of climbing because I am afraid of heights. Actually, I'm not so much afraid of heights as I am of falling. This makes sense to DJ but probably not to anyone else. Thanks for a most excellent cache in an area that we would not otherwise have found without geocaching. Johnny.
