This cache is hidden close to the paved walking trail that runs through the park. On your journey you will cover about 1.3 miles if you do the full loop. There are many benches to rest if you get tired. If you are on the trail walking northwest the cache will be on the right side of the trail. read the hint if you have trouble. Some people have had spotty reception near the cache. You may want to go into the clearing and take a compass bearing if you know how to do so.

Please strive to keep this park beautiful. So far it is one of the few parks in the area that they have not "messed up" by removing the natural beauty. The park still has a few large open fields, and you can often find deer running around in the woods.

Enjoy the cache!

Found this a while back thanks for bringing me to a very nice little park

Found this cache July 26 2002.
From I-79 head East on Rt 228 aprox 6.2 miles, turn left on Three Degree Road.
For the park being only two years old, I'd say its one of the nices parks in the area.
I stopped and talked to the maint. guy mowing the grass, he was very helpful in more ways then one, I'll get to that later!
Anyways he directed me to the blacktop path and I had no trouble getting to the general area of the cache.
The clue about looking for a tree with a large base is some what misleading.
Found cache about 9:30 after spending 1/2 hr looking for it. In that time frame I was asked if I had left my car lights on, yes I did.
Left pocket knife and two bobbing head animals which I picked up from one of my caches near Moraine state park, signed log, and took some readings near the cache.
N 40 42.615 W 80 59.788 is the best I could do.
On the way to the car I discovered I had left the keys in the car (locked).
The maint guy was near the parking area where my car was and asked if I had found the cache, we talked for awhile and he headed down the road to call the locals for me. The police got the lock open and I thanked them for there help and headed home. Needless to say, I will always remember this park for awhile. Paul

I did not have a road map for the area so I ended up driving around in a big circle before I found the entrance to the park. I wish I had a bike to do this one. The trail looked like fun. I chose a different route. I beelined it from straight from a pavillion to the cache. I tripped over a fence and had to jump over a creek but it was smooth sailing after that. I found the cache fairly quickly and went back the way I came. Thanks Joe! Johnny.
