This is a normal cache located at Lake Lurleen State Park in Coker, Alabama. CacheKidd #1 spent lots of time having fun here as a boy: swimming, hiking, etc. If you hike to this cache, you'll have a fairly long outing with thorns, poison ous plants, bogs, hills and valleys. Snakes of various sorts are likely as well. It's easier if you have a boat or rent one. You'll still have to climb a hill but it will be much quicker. If you are hiking, it's best to start from the campground in the back or at the dam.
Cache is a 7.62 mm ammo box hidden at the top of a hill. Also, the log book is the same one for the old George's Wife cache from the park. This was done to see how many cahers are visiting the park. Thanks! |
