We placed a new cache on Baldy trail in Kananaskis this past Saturday. We actually hiked to the top but with the snow, didn't think it would be reachable through the winter so placed it near the bottom of the trail (about 1.5k). Take HW #40 and park at 50 59.382 N, 115 04.525 W. Trail starts right across the road. Cache is strapped to a tree, just off the trail at the corridinates.

Even in winter, shouldn't be too hard a walk and maybe a good place to try out some snowshoes or cross country skis. A nice 4.5k each way. We did it this weekend and took about 2.5 hours to get to the top.

DanOCan adopted this listing on that other cache listing site.

"We have replaced the original tuperware container with a camouflaged ammocan. Given that the old container had developed a crack we didn't think it would be too long before this cache had moisture problems.

We added a few small swag items and checked on the existing contents of the cache. Everything looks good and is ready for prime hiking season."
