Three possible ways to get to this cache. One of these routes is shorter however MUCH steeper.
Finding this cache should be the easy part, getting to it a little more difficult. We camped at N45 15.571 W121 54.826 right on the river at a beautiful site approximately 3 miles from the cache. We set out to place it on the third day, passed some spectacular views, searched for a good fishing spot, did the shorter, STEEPER Route and eventually found a likely spot. An energetic day hike, but probably more fun if you camp in the area. Cache contains some very basic goodies to enjoy while hiking or camping. Not too much stuff because it all had to be packed in with our gear. 1) Sequined Baseball Cap(from Phaedra cache)-let us know where it travels next. 2)A Separate Reality by Carlos Castaneda 3)Tennis ball 4) Small hairbrush 5)Hot cider mix (from MRE) 6)Daddy Ray's Nutra Fruit (also from MRE) 7)3 glow sticks The following are not in the plastic bag, but are sitting loose in the bottom; don't stick yourself. 8) Rooster Tail 9) Mosquito Fly 10) Bobber Also of course a log book, and please only one item per party as we were limited in what we could stock it with.As much as possible we would like to stick with items that could be fun or functional while hiking/camping. All in your standard forest green small ammo box. |
