Comments:
Beautiful hike. First part of the nature trail is handicapped accessable, but the rest is not. Restrooms and water is located in the Welcome Center. Center is open from Monday through Saturday, 9am to 4pm. and on Sunday from 1pm to 4pm. Worth the drive. Beautiful with the snow on the ground.

Located at Laurel Gorge Nature Trail in Elliott County. This is a fairly easy hike with beautiful scenery. Cache is located in a clear Rubbermaid type canister. Please be sure and visit the Welcome Center, as there is a lot of information there. Flo Whitley, sister in law to the late Keith Whitley, works at the Welcome Center and is a wealth of info about this beautiful area.

Wow! This trail is great. I can't wait to come back here in the spring. If you get a chance keep walking the trail past the cache about a 1/2 mile or more, the scenery is awesome. This is my favorite so far. Left the usual Army keychain, took nothing.
