Misc: Drinking water available. There are restrooms (water closets) available Pets are allowed. Parking is available

Comments:
Do not block maintenance gate. Park in the lot. If you take pets, please make sure they are on a leash. Keep small children close as there is a small river that runs parallel to the trail. Restrooms and water are seasonal, usually open only during summer time, although there is a port a potty at the marina.

Cache is located on the spillway side of Grayson Lake Dam. It is located in a clear Rubbermaid type canister. Easy hike, but can be muddy in wet weather.

Didn't get to drive to the maintenance gate. They had the gate locked before you got to the spillway. But I can't complain, the walk was easy and the weather was sunny and somewhat warm. Saw a mink swimming in the spillway,but he dove when I got out my camera. Left 2 firemen. Thanks.

Found this one with my son. We left an Army 'D' ring and a fireman Travel bug. I didn't take anything. Nice walk, we saw 7 deer and took a look at the huge sycamore tree down by the trail.
