Park Fees:
A Cedar Valley Nature Trail Permit is needed($12.00 annual or $3.00 per day per person).
This is a contination of Icepak's Lucky7 -2of7. The cache itself is new, but this shouldn't be too difficult for anyone that's found a cache before. Very obvious hiding spot, but you can't see it even if you're right on top of it.
This cache is on the Cedar Valley Nature Trail. The southern 26 miles (Linn and Benton counties) of the trail require a trail use permit for anyone 13 and over. The only exception is the free use days. Permit costs are $3 for single day and $12 for annual passes, they can be purchased at the locations listed here
While out on the trail, you may want to visit the book cache less than a mile south.

NOTE: Those of you approaching this cache from far south may encounter trail closures. See this cache for details.

Went out for a long bike ride today. I've been putting this cache off for way too long. Trying to get my wind back before I go back to work in about a week and a half, I decide I'd get the bike out and I road alot further than I intended too and found myself in Central City.

I pass this one jogger on my trek today, and was like "hey there good looking", till I got in front and then well, never mind. :=)

All in all it was a great afternoon to be out on the bike and quite a few people where enjoying the trail as well. I found the cache without any problem's. The ziplock is torn and I didn't have a new one in my camelpac, but the log book is nice and dry and the container is holding up well.

Thanks welch for keeping this one going!!!! I would have like to see what else Icepak hid, he was going before my time.

Found this guy easy enough after missing the Rusty Book. Enjoyed reading the post cards, but left the TB there. Dont know when we will have a chance to drop it off, besides Barthonis hasnt been here yet so it wont sit very long

Edit: FYI, the day pass is now $3 for adult (over age 13)
