An Acorn Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree!

This cache affords the seeker an opportunity to visit historic Acorn Hall (which is rumored to be haunted, check out: http://www.hauntednewjersey.com/research/acornhall.htm) while enjoying a nice stroll through a greenway along the Whippany river.
Recommended parking is at Acorn Hall (N40.47.809 W74.27.605) and you can pick up a blue blazed trail at the rear of the Acorn Hall property. Closer parking may be found - but heed the recommendation and take a few minutes to check out the historic property.

Intermediate stages are small but should be easy to find as they should be in plain site and visible from the proper angle. Final cache container is relatively small - not as large as an ammo box, but larger than a typical micro. Enjoy the walk and take the opportunity to read about some of the history of the area while you stroll along.
