This is a virtual cache that will keep you from getting your feet wet in the Alabama River. This site is home to something that is quite rare in Alabama today. The Heart of Dixie is blessed with about the most extensive system of freshwaters in the USA. In the past, the object of this cache was very common in the state. Today, however, I can think of just a couple or three other examples. This one is absolutely the most obscure and likely endangered. To log this cache, you must tell the name of the place and post a picture of yourself in the middle of the Alabama River. Logs without photos will be deleted.
Thanks!

Question: The coordinates on Mapquest are different than coordinates listed on your website. We're camping this weekend at Isaac Creek and want to find this cache. It will be our first find. We're newbies. Just wondering about differing coordinates. Which ones do we use?
