San Antonio has always been cavalier about its street names, changing them at will. Such is the case with Grand Avenue which got ITS name changed in the early 1930’s.

What you are looking for is a concrete bridge on this street that spans a body of water. There are two identical bronze plaques at either end of the bridge. To claim a “find”, email me with the name of the bridge engineers and the date directly below their name.
