This is a Geocachers Meeting. Come one, come all, to the inaugural TAG meeting. Saturday April 6, 2002 starting at 11:00AM. In January I had the pleasure to attend the Oklahoma Geocachers Breakfast Meeting in Oklahoma City. I had a lot of fun and the opportunity to go caching with a fellow OKC area cacher. I was quite pleased with their hospitality, and the input I have received from the OKC members over the past month. Although I'd love to do it again (and I do plan to make another one of their meetings) it's a little far to drive every month. With the suggestion from some of our fellow OKC cachers and the input of a few Tulsa based cachers, I decided to start our own group right here in Tulsa. The fine folks with the City of Tulsa Parks Department have been kind enough to donate a nice warm space out of the cold for the meeting. Although we can move outside if weather permits and everyone wants to. The use of the space is free but they accept donations. The meeting room will hold about 25 comfortably, or as many as 50 if the need arises. We can get into the room as early as 10:30 if anyone wants to help set up for the meeting but the meeting will officially begin at 11:00. Food and drink is perfectly fine at the meeting location. There is also a coffee machine available for our use. I plan to bring some drinks and some snacks. Feel free to bring a picnic or sack lunch if you would like. If anyone would like to help out by bringing food or drinks please let me know so I can plan for it. This is the most recent meeting we've been to, so we'll log this one. We always enjoy meeting new cachers and chatting with old friends! Beatnik and jpenn01 do a great job keeping the group going. Hope to see you there some time!
