steep terrain need good "billy" goat skills. taking small children and dogs is not recommended.

The Rear View Mirror Cache SI71/25235TRST136446BDY51367674E103131 is perched rather high on the Genesee river embankment 350 ft. elevation which is an estimate. It has a great view of the Seneca, Maplewood park walk bridge.

This goecache can be approached by land or water. But please waite for warm paddling weather if you come that way.

If coming by land and using your "billy" goat skills a walking stick, crampons, or a piece of rope 25 or 30 feet may prove useful.

When retrieving the cache box you should experience the unique feeling of "flying upside down".

Don't remember how many times we stood on top of this "hill", looked down and decided not to attempt the cache. Whether it was weather conditions or just sheer concern for safety, we walked away. Today we decided to give it a try and placed our logged in the book.

Yahoo! Three trips into this gorge in 4 days, but I think I got them all (for now anyways). I spent over an hour looking for this one on Sunday, without finding it. After reading some of the other logs I decided to try again. I found it within 10 minutes this time. It was well hidden.
TNLN. Thanks for the mountain climbing lesson.

Just love the urban caches -- nothing like sliding down a muddy gorge covered with broken glass to make your day complete. Sats were all over but we were not about to give up. I think I read too much in to the cache name. Ruthie spotted the actual box which is in great shape.

This one was fun even with out the sun. The snow and sleet was coming down and made the adventure more fun.

Casey and I managed to find the cache and the big crash.
The only real problem came when we got home. Casey took his school coat and boots with him. They were completely
covered in mud. His mother couldn't believe I allowed him to go on a cliff in school clothes. I tried to explain that I didn't know that they were school clothes and the cliff wasn't to dangerous. This is the second cache I've done with Casey that landed me in the dog house with Candie.

Oh well, she'll get over it. lol

The cache is in great shape and well hidden.

Thanks for another great hide!

I was very glad to have my proper hiking boots rather than the shoes I usually wear geocaching. This was a lot of fun. As Geo G says, the hill was muddy and slippery, which added to the "entertainment". Thanks for the start of a fun morning. Traded nothing.

What a hike! RobNHood and I found this after it had rained all night. Lots of mud and wet leaves. Glad we got the hard one out of the way first. Left nothing took 3 lbs of mud. :)

I Billy Goated back and forth for 1/2 hr. kept thinking I would make the news by needing a rescue. Wished I had brought a rope. This was a good hide, I never should go with my instincts.
Thanks,
Wheelygood

Revisited this one with a few new cachers, never got to log in when we bumped in Caron and Quinn back on March 9th. We were already in the area. Took and left nothing. Nice short walk but not as easy as it looks.

Happy St. Pat's day! This was an adventure for me. My GPS was bouncing all over, which meant I went out of my way. Once I was in the vicinty I was determined to find the cache, I knew I'd never make a return trip if I couldn't find it. Finally I found it! I took nothing, and left a WheresGeorge bill. Moved on to the Pez cache, not too far away. Thanks for the climb. Maybe I'd rate this a 4 Star.

Issaquah Puppy and I just finished the PEZ cache, and saw this one was very close. We headed for it, and GPS continued to bounce all around. We were halfway up the hill, and my GPS started telling me it was down the hill (to heck with going back down after climbing up). I looked around couldn't find it. We climbed up the hill, and headed back to the car, got the printout of cache page, and saw the info I needed. We headed back down the hill, and I found the cache in short order. Issaquah Puppy was having fun running up and down the hills as I logged our find. NOTE: my dog Issaquah Puppy (an Airedale Terrier) had no problem with the terrain. I wish I was as good at climbing as her. So feel free to bring your dog if it is good in rough steep terrain. Issaquah has been on dozens of geocaches with me, and has had no problems except for a grated bridge that her paws would fit through (probably with practice, she could handle that too).

Found this cache with Caron. while looking we bumped into quite a few nice fellows out caching as well.
"Boozer" along with his two brothers and also "Lowerfalls"
must have decided the weather was too good to take a pass on and came out for the adventure also.
Nice scenic location but boy what a trek!
I won't give anything away on this cache but wear some good grip boots.

I placed the M&M (Orange) hitch hiker dude in this cache with his travel log book. If the next cacher takes him please log his travels in the Navicache forums.
We signed the logbook and placed the cache as found.
Boozer and his gang were a great bunch to bump into, I am glad I got the chance to meet them all.
