I found this one after making the find at the Keychain cache. I enjoyed the walk to this location and I was able to find the cache right away because it was fully exposed. Must have been the work of some industrious rodents. I didn't make any trades and I signed the logbook. Thanks for the cache! -Paleoman52-

I was in town for the day visiting from Pittsburgh. I used to live in Rochester for an 8-year stretch about 15 years ago. This park was one of my favorites to visit for different activities in all four seasons. This cache was the last of seven found on a nice hiking tour of the area. By this point, I was really regretting that I didn't have any bug spray along. It took a good 5-10 minute search before I was able to uncover this well-hidden cache. Everything was in good shape. Thanks for the cache and for bringing back the great memories!

The gps was good to us today, we walked directly to the cache. TN left light stick. Log book is full.

This was a tough one to find. The GPS was all over the place with the tree cover. But we did find it after about 15 minutes of looking. Great place for a cache Thanks.

This was find #199 while attending the Winterfest. Found it with MrMom, the Goo, BarbershopDru, Junglehair, The Old Bat, Medic Dave & Davand. It was a beautiful sunny day in the snow covered forest. I enjoyed finding this one.

First of two finds today. E spotted the cache in the woods. Nice little spot for a hide. Weather was nice, no bugs. Cache was PACKED we took out the biggest object and traded it with something much smaller.

Went to this cache tonight w/ my sister and nephew from Garford Gang. They had done this one earlier in the day, but noticed after doing 5 caches, that they lost a cel phone. We went back tonight w/ my cel phone to hopefully locate it and as a bonus, while they looked for the phone (hopefully it was turned on to ring when I called it), I got to find this cache at 7:25PM. Thanks for the nice hide. (We did find the phone at the last cache they did today, of course it being the 5th cache we retraced their steps at too!)

I started out very early in the morning for this one. I should have gone after this one after my last Cache hunt as a bit of a drive was in order.

I agree that there are tons of places here for a great hiding spot.

I loved this hunt! I was showing signs of being tired for sure on the way back home.

The coordinates were exactly right, too bad my gps didnt know that, we went so far out of the way I wont even say it (though we got to talking and werent paying much attention.) We had planned on doing at least one more cache in the area but night came quickly after our arduous hike through the pouring rain (it was nice out until we opened our car doors). We didn't give up though, as you said, and eventually found it. We traded a belt clip and a hot wheel for an elephant toy (DW collects elephants) and a NZ coin. The trails here were great, a wrong turn and we saw a weird little teepee thing, intesting, not sure what it was there for. Also saw some baby frogs or toads, and some giant mosquitoes, whoever is next should definetly bring some bug spray! We took some pictures, not sure if they turned out, will post them later.

Nice Hide - There are literally hundreds of potential spots here. With all the new downed trees and branches from the ice storm it is even more interesting.

The log book is full. I didn't have any with me that would fit or I would have left one. I was the last entry on the last page.

Took a newbee in training to this one, but I show no mercy. Part of training excersize is to know what Huckle Buckle Beanstalk means.
Road kill is grinning

Walked through deep snow - icy and windy - with Road Kill grinning all the way. Found the cache and enjoyed looking at all the goodies. Took a wooden token with a "G" printed on it - took a Where's George and left a dollar along with a seashell. Lovely spot.

Found no problem this time. First time around GPS kept freezing and losing reception...left in frustration. Second times a charm for this cache.
Took nothing; left nothing.

This was our third of five caches found this afternoon. We hiked directly from ‘Mendon Ponds Cache’ which made it all the more adventurous. This one was pretty difficult to find because the tree cover hampered our readings quite a bit. Also, there are a lot of potential hiding places in the area.

Whew! Took me ages, but finally I spotted a likely hiding spot that actually turned out to be THE hiding spot, unlike the 5042 likely hiding spots I'd checked out before it. This was my third of four today, was hoping to get six but as I exited the woods I felt the first little sprinkles and decided to try for just one more before heading home. This cache was very well hidden and I had the same bouncy sattelites that have plagued the cachers before me. I hope I left the cache as well concealed as I found it, since it was such fun looking!

Just like everyone else, sats. were really bouncing on this one. Was standing trying to get good sats. when I just happened to spot it. At the cache the GPS settled down to 10 feet with good sats. Signed log, took/left nothing. But I think I logged 7 Aug so will the next finder change my log date to 7 Sep. Thanks for the hide.

Our 5th and final cache of the day. Found this one at 8:58pm. The last person to find this just left it out in the open. I found easily, because my flashlight shined on it. We hide it much better. We took the Lizard figure and left 2 AA batteries. The container was very full! Thanks for a nice little cache.

My first cach.
Went with 2 others. We finally found it, but with the tree cover the GPS was a dancing.

Yep, i dried out this Russian made Garmin 40 GPS (the instructions are in Russian of-course) and it locked on its one satilite, Sputnik (the dog died long ago). Then this trusty little bear of a GPS got me right to the cache this time.
Nice cache and a nice hide. Thanks for getting me out for a fine mini adventure and to smell the flowers.

Found it at 12:30 pm. GPS got within 85 feet. Played with the yoyo. Took nothing, left nothing.

Like Lower Falls i had no luck. Newly fallen trees in the area may have covered the cache. Rainy morning GPS was acting up as well. Thanks for taking me to mendon its always nice to return there.

Number 9 of 13 for the day. Walked around and around trying to get signal lock in these heavy woods. Really took a long time to find due to GPS problems and a very good hiding job. I rehid it even better than my predecessor

Nice spot, William & Mary. My favorite park in the area. Was there to check on my caches in the park, so I took the opportunity to go after yours.Went with no paperwork or clues, but the trusty gps got me there with no problem. Took a little blue guy that goes on a pencil or something, & left a Dunlop lanyard. Left my mark in the log book. Good time. Thanks.--Gimpy--

Found this cache about 11AM this morning,great spot had to use the clues(many downed trees in the area. With the pine trees in the area Ikept losing the signal. Thanks for the hunt.

Found the cache eventually. MY GPS was bouncing around in there. I looked for the clue, and was not finding the cache. Then realized I came in from a different direction from the trail, and then when I reversed orientation, I found the cache. Thanks for the hunt!

Hi! This was our 5th of 5 caches for the day. I must say that you picked a very pretty spot and it was mostly low impact :)

The cache was in great shape and we liked very much your placement.

Everything was in fine shape. We traded out a Glo stick (Eversure son says thanks), a nonskid fireman square (Sweety says thanks) and a WGeorge bill. These were replaced with 2 prism stickers, a motorized fan, happy waving tooth guy and a note pad.

Nice site. I love walking in pines.Great weather, what more can you ask for. Found it quite quickly,actually I wish it had taken longer. Entered the second entry in log book.Took the superglue, to glue the heel of my son`s shoe,and the roun tuit.Left a chem lite,mantles for a coleman lantern and 2 Where`s George dollars.

We were first!! Sounds like we beat the heavy traffic that was at you cache today. Nice to be back in Mendon Ponds Park where we found our first cache about a year ago. Although not a bad walk there were so many good hiding spots we wondered around a bit before we found it. From some foot prints we saw going in didn't think we would be first, there may have been a unsuccessful cacher today as well. Left a gold dollar coin and a note in the log book. Our first of 4 today, thank you for the fun.

Found this one no prob, beautiful day, great trail's. Perfect family cache. Disapointed there where no WG dollars, left a couple to get the trend started.

Nice walk with my dog Penny on a nice early March day, 50+ degrees. At the cache at 2:00 PM. Took a harder route in than described, 200 feet uphill from this trail, but still one of the easiest we've done yet. Coordinates were dead on with my Meridian Gold (lets hear it for WAAS!:-). Cache was well hidden but found it in about a minute or two after the GPS settled down. Nice container. Took a McCall button, left an Oscar the Grouch with a travel bug that I picked up at Sprucewood cache. I think we almost met some other cachers; as we got back to the car, saw a couple people up the road entering the woods on the "right" trail. Thanks for placing such a "friendly" cache!
