The parking lot for this cache, is where a schoolhouse used to stand over 75 years ago, you certainly would never know now! My Dad went to school there when he was 5 years old.

I hope you enjoy this tidbit of local history! The cache should be easy enough to find, but PLEASE PLEASE be discreet. Get the cache box and take it back up to the area with the bench so as not to comprimise the cache location!

The cache is in a 30cal ammo box painted camoflauge. The cache is themed "school items." You can also just take an eraser, if you like!

There is a tiny themed first finder prize.

We checked everywhere it appears the thing is gone. there is a lot of construction in that area. Perhaps
it was discovered and removed.

My grandsons Sean and Shamus wanted to do this one since they could relate to school activities. They found it fairly quickly and traded a pencil sharpener and notebook for a couple of other school items. Thanks. We took pic #4.. that's Sean and Shamus with Dad, Matt.

Interesting area. There was a gentleman selling flowers at the parking coords, so I had to buy some for Mrs. Urkel to divert attention from my intended activities. I did not trade, just logged my visit and replaced the container. I see the cache was placed pretty recently in late fall. I think it's going to get pretty ugly back there in the summer. Thanks for the cache.

Happy Easter!
Went out this morning as a solo. Found this one with no trouble. Box was visible from bench. I hid it better when I was done. Took nothing, left nothing.

First find with our new Lowrance iFinder Pro. A nice easy one to start the day, in an atmosphere with lots of character. The rain started just as we found the container. Took a picture of the kids (kinda--you'll see) by a large tree--there are 12 or 13 shots left. Took an eraser, left nothing. Thanks for the cache.

Found it with Caron. Cute theme. Drive by this cache everyday and did not know the history. We found it at about 9:30 am and were not the first. Thank you - always need that extra push to get out in the cold weather.
