Cache container is a retired .50 cal. ammo box, painted black with white lettering identifying it as a geocache. Cache was placed on a warm February day, & overhead cover was minimal. I expect this will change considerably as we get into the Spring & Summer months. Not too many well defined trails heading back, as all is pretty open back there in the Winter months. Cache contains the usual log book to chronicle your adventure & a cache camera to take your picture & return the camera to the cache. Cache also contains some treasures that a hiker, camper or cacher would find handy. This one might be a little difficult for the kids.If conditions later warrant a change in difficulty, I'll change the rating. Happy caching & enjoy.

This was a nice hide in an area of the park we didn't know was part of the park. Of course we started on the wrong side of the creek but eventually made it to the right side. Cache was in great shape Thanks.

2 of 3 with Wrexsoul. Not as hard as I had expected. I have not been to this part of the park before, so that was exciting. Wrex attempted to cross a log bridge after seeing a squirrel do it so effortlessly...let's just say that he exceeded the load capacity rather quickly. Took TB. Nice hide.

Great cache, in a rarely visited part of the park! Took us a while to get there, first way we tried wound up with an uncrossable stream between us and the location, had to go in from another way. Left a matchbox-style toy car, took a dollar coin. Thanks!!

Had almost as much fun watching JavaMutt running up and down the terrain as I did finding the cache. This was well off the beaten path, and certainly in an underutilized section of the park - would be a great place to picnic (of course, not when there's a foot of snow on the ground!).

This was our first cache, and JavaMutt gives paws of approval. Logged on geocaching.com also.

I was determined to finish up the caches in this park tonight, so this was cache one of two. Saw a few snakes on the way in, but I didn't have my camera - too bad, I just love snakes! Didn't get my feet wet crossing the stream, hunted around and found the cache, signed the log and headed off to the next one. Took nothing, left nothing - I felt like a Type A cacher tonight, dashing about before it got too terribly dark. A nice walk on a warm summer evening!

I finally made it up to hunt this cache. I just haven't had time, or been up in the area. I thought the terrain rating was a little high. Issaquah Puppy and I walked down the path, and found we were on the wrong side of the creek. I picked up Issaquah, and carried her as I walked across a fallen tree. My GPS was messing with me, but I ended up finding the cache at the one place my GPS was telling me it wasn't. Left some screw driver bits, and took a flashlight. Took a phot of Issa with the cache camera. Thanks Gimpy!

What a wonderful day for a hike in the park. The ground was a little soggy in the low spots but it was warm and sunny, in the 50's temp. wise. Locating this one was no problem except that I walked past it once going up hill. As soon as I realized this I took another path down and found it. The cache is in great shape with lots of goodies. I made a note in the lob, took a picture. Took the All Star Baseball CD and left some Georges as well as a combo lint brush and shoehorn. Thanks Gimpy!

Got to the cache site at 4:15, stopped on my way home from work today,it's been awhile since my last cache adventure, but Gimpy's hunts are always my favorite to do.A bit muddy, but not too bad.I took Pauly the parrot and he will show up soon, maybe in a local cache or I may take him south (don't know yet). All I do know is I will get him on his way soon. Thanks for a good hunt.

I found your cache at 3:28 this afternoon. I was in the neighborhood visiting LHR's and Caron's caches. Your cache gave me a little more exercise. As I entered the woods a snow squall came in. It was snowing so hard the visibility was reduced down to about 50 feet, but it ended as quick as it started. I snapped a pic, took a coil of cord and left a bag of trinkets and coins. I noticed some rather large White Ash and Hemlock trees in the area. The other times I was in this part of the park my attention was on what may be swimming in the creek. Another great cache.

Nice Spot Gimpy! It's nice to have a cache that doesn't use trails all the way in, but then again maybe I just didn't see any trail. Nice cache, lots of 'good stuff'. I took a small flashlight and left a Tire Pressure Gauge, 3 wheresgeorge bills, and a new Tracking Bug - Pauly the Parrot. This was Pauly's first visit to a cache, and I could see that she was excited. I hope Pauly is on her way soon, and visits many caches. Thanks!
