This micro-cache is located on the walking trail on Dickinson Bayou in Paul Hopkins Park.
It is in an area across from a stand of fan palms, where the trail runs between a leaning tree and a fallen (dead) tree.

Due to tree cover, the Garmin Vista GPS used to place the cache could only get ~25' accuracy.

We started the cache with a bicentennial quarter. Please feel free to sign the log, take something, and leave something.

Found all of the clues, but no cache. Only second time, so I don't know if it is me or the site.

The cache survived all the rain and flooding we have had in Galveston County during the past month.

As stated by a previous finder of the cache, it is pretty wet inside. I did not find the log book but it may be there. I did not open all of the containers -- just the outside one.

I left a "golden" dollar and took nothing.

This was a fun search with an interesting placement of the cache.

Found the cache pretty easily; but contents were soaking wet. Log was unreadable and torn. Suggesst re-establishing or archiving this cache. On the trail a little past the cache I observed several small clearings each about 8-10 feet across with feathers littering the ground. Does anyone know what caused this?
