This cache offers a 3,000 years time leap between the two stages of the cache. The first stage of the cache which is located near Fuglerupgård (farm) northeast of Lynge in North Zealand brings you apx. 3,000 years back in time. The second stage of the cache which is located apx. half a mile from the first stage offers something of a more contemporary nature.
Stage 1 – Six lurs: In 1797 a peasant by the name of Ole Pedersen found three lur-pairs in Brudevælte Mose (bog) by Fuglerupgård. This is the greatest and most famous lur-findings from the bronze age in Denmark. Five of these lurs are on display at the National Museum in Copenhagen. In 1845 the sixth lur from Brudevælte was presented as a gift to the Russian tsar Nikolaj I. This lur still is kept at the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. Today the apx. 3,000 years old bronze-lurs from Brudevælte are in such a fine condition that they still can be played. In Denmark (¢) lur-pairs have been found. In Norway (µ) lur-pairs have been found. The lur is a little more than (¤) meters long. At one end of a lur is a mouth-piece and at the other end is an ornamental disc. On each ornamental disc a number of hemispherical “dents” are found. The number of “dents” varies from lur-pair to lur-pair. As regards Brudevæltelurerne the pair whith the lowest number have (€) “dents”, the medium pair have (£), and the pair with the highest number of “dents” have (¥). And now to something completely different! Stage 2 – Årtusindskifteskoven (Millennium Forest): In relation to the millennium recently passed the city council in Allerød has taken the initiative to plant a new forest of apx. 35 acres north of Lynge to mark the millennium and for the local citicens to enjoy. At stage 2 please use the gate at N55° 50.923' E012° 16.946' where you also can park. The cache itself – a nice big .50 cal. ammo box – is placed at the coordinates N55° 50.(€*1½)(µ+4)(¥*2-8)' E012° 17.(£-5)(¤*2-4)(¢-4)'. Initial contents are logbook with a pencil and a small selection of trading-goodies. Do not publish spoiler information or spoiler images. Enjoy caching … -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Denne cache byder på et tidsmæssigt spring på 3.000 år mellem cachens to trin. Cachens første trin findes nær Fuglerupgård nordøst for Lynge i Nordsjælland, og fører dig med ca. 3.000 år tilbage i tiden. Cachens andet trin ligger 600-700 meter derfra, og byder på noget ganske nutidigt. Trin 1 – Seks lurer: I 1797 fandt bonden Ole Pedersen tre lur-par i Brudevælte Mose ved Fuglerupgård. Dette er det største og berømteste lurfund fra Danmarks bronzealder. Fem af disse lurer udstilles på Nationalmuseet i København. Den sjette Brudevæltelur blev under indviklede diplomatiske og udenrigspolitiske manøvrer i 1845 foræret til den russiske tsar Nikolaj I. Denne lur befinder sig fortsat på Eremitagemuseet i Skt. Petersborg. De ca. 3.000 år gamle bronzelurer fra Brudevælte er så velbevarede, at man stadig kan spille på dem. I Danmark er fundet (¢) hele lurpar. I Norge er fundet (µ) hele lurpar. En lur er godt (¤) meter lang. I den ene ende af en lur sidder et mundstykke og i den anden ende en cirkelrund prydplade. På hver prydplade findes et antal halvkugleformede “buler”. Antallet af “buler” varierer fra lurpar til lurpar. Hvad angår Brudevæltelurerne har parret med det laveste antal (€) “buler”, parret med det mellemste antal har (£), og parret med det højeste antal “buler” har (¥). Og nu til noget helt andet! Trin 2 – Årtusindskifteskoven: I forbindelse med det nyligt passerede årtusindskifte har Allerød Kommune på byrådets foranledning ladet en helt ny skov på ca. 14 hektar plante nord for Lynge dels for at markere det nævnte årtusindskifte, dels til almindelig glæde og adspredelse for kommunens borgere. Ved trin 2 brug da venligst lågen ved N55° 50.923' E012° 16.946', hvor du også kan parkere. Selve cachen – en dejlig stor kal. 12,7 mm ammo box – ligger ved koordinaterne N55° 50.(€*1½)(µ+4)(¥*2-8)' E012° 17.(£-5)(¤*2-4)(¢-4)'.
