This is now an offset cache. Bring a compass.

The coordinates guide you to the spring's cistern. From the cistern, walk 55 paces at 140 degrees toward path at opposite end of the lot. Continue in same direction to bank of the stream. To your left is a dead tree. Begin your search there.

The cache is in a "wide mouth" nalgene bottle. But the "wide mouth" doesn't allow for very large trade items.

When rehiding cache, be sure to screw the lid on firmly and replace it exactly the way you found it.

Just catching up with logging my Navicaches...its been a while. Doing it now (Jan 2005) ...better late than never.
My original log is as follows:
Finally got this one on my second attempt. The first try was back in March when there was hip deep snow and I thought I was going to die after falling through the snow into some holes there. Much easier this time of year when I can see where I'm going!
Took a CITO container and left an Army card and a 2004 thing.

Last time I was here, the original cache was gone from its hiding spot. Thanks to Brian for resurrecting this one. He knows how hard it for me to get down to his NJ caches. I suspect though, that they're all as good as this one.
