This is a multi waypoint Adventure for those of you that like to continue with something a bit different than the single waypoint hunts.

Things you will want to have handy with you for this trek will be the following Items... Paper, Pen or Pencil, calculator, patience and a comfortable pair of walking shoe’s.

99% of this Adventure will be clear sky view for your GPS and the Entire hunt should take you no more than 10 miles from start to finish. I am telling you this because I know it’s easy to make a typo that could pull you out about 60 miles, and I don’t want to see anyone not have a good time due to an error somewhere in the transformations of codes.

Now, How this will work...

We all know there are 26 letters in the alphabet. A =1 B =2 C =3 and Z =26
To make this easy on yourself you might want to draw out the Alphabet and number each letter like I just mentioned. You will be using these Transformations back and forth in order to get coordinates to move you closer to the final cache location.
So if A = 1 than 1 also = “A” Both letter and numbers will be used for this Hunt.

Let’s jump right to the starting coordinates and I’ll explain more if needed as we go.

Waypoint 1.

N43* 12.805 W077* 38.240 Look for a Boulder that seems out of place. What is the Nine-letter name you found on it?
Answer:

To get the Coordinates for Waypoint two, take the Latitude Numbers from Waypoint One and lay them out without decimal points. I’ll help you with the first one. So In our first Waypoint we had N43* 12.805 so make that 4312805, Now take the Number value’s for EACH of first six letters you found on the Item of waypoint one, and add EACH of them to 4312805, this will be your new Latitude for Waypoint two.
For Instance...if one of the letters was "K" you would add "11" to the starting coordinate and then go to the next letters NUMBER value, and then add that one.
Answer:

SUBTRACT the number value for the 8th letter from the name you found in waypoint one to your Waypoint one’s Longitude Coordinate.

Answer:
You now have the Waypoint two’s coordinates _______________________

Waypoint two... He died in 1902 and Catharine was his wife. Take the number values for his middle initial and also for the first letter of his last name and add them to waypoint two’s Latitude.

Answer:

Subtract 16 from his age at time of death, add your answer to Waypoint two’s Longitude.

Answer:
Waypoint Three’s Coordinates________________

Waypoint Three: Good old John was an army boy before he died at the age of 85 back in 1920. Subtract the Day Number in December you find from waypoint three’s Latitude.
Answer:

Take the number value for the 3rd letter in John’s last name and multiply it by 9. now take the number value of the first letter of the state in which his Calvary unit was based and add that to the answer you came up with. SUBTRACT this total number from your waypoint three’s Longitude.
Answer: Waypoint four’s Coordinates_______________
Waypoint 4: You are looking for Mr. Neary who was a Private in the 108th.
When you find him add the number value of the 4th letter in his first name to the Latitude in waypoint 4
Answer:

Take the number values of the 5th and 6th letters of his first name and add them both to waypoint fours Longitude.
Answer: Waypoint 5 coordinates_______________________

Waypoint 5: “Mary Ann” was the Daughter of R. Bryant. Take the number value of the First letter of Mary’s Mom’s name and add it to your Waypoint 5 Latitude.
Answer:

Take the number values of the 2nd and 4th letters of Mary’s mom’s name and add them to your waypoint 5 Longitude.
Answer: Waypoint 6 Coordinates_____________________

Waypoint 6: This Baby was a Boomer. You will find Two letters on the top of this one. Take the second letters number value and multiply it x3.
Now Take the number value of the first letter and add it to your answer.
Add what you came up with to your starting latitude in waypoint 6.
The Answer you come up with will be your Waypoint 7 Latitude.
Answer:____________

What color is this ? Answer:_________ Take the number value of the second letter in the name of its color and multiply it x2.
Add what you come up with to the Longitude in waypoint 6.
Answer: Waypoint 7 coordinates_____________________

Waypoint 7: Find Mr. J. Zimber... There are only four Single Digit numbers here. Take the first two SINGLE digit numbers and add them together.
Now take your answer and multiply it x6. Answer:_____
Take The number you come up with and subtract it from your Waypoint 7 Latitude and this will be your new Latitude for waypoint 8.
Answer:_____________

Take the 1st, 2nd and 3rd SINGLE digit numbers and add them together. Answer:____ Now take the Number you come up with and add it to your Waypoint 7 Longitude. This will give you waypoint 8’s Longitude.
Answer:___________ Waypoint 8 Coordinates______________________

Waypoint 8: Joseph and Josephine “His Wife” were both Born in 1836.
But where is Josephine now? hmmm.

I met all the people you listed and almost feel as if I know some of them personally. I wasn't sure where I would find the SUV, but when I got within 1.5 miles of the coordinates, I had a hunch. The area of the cache is where I checked the sea wothiness of my first kayak. An old beat up boat that was given to me. The coordinates took me to the open area within an area. Here I searched for two hours with no luck. I will check the photos of the cache and be back tomorrow. Though I was skunked today, I had a great time.

Thanx,
Kayaker

Just glad to help correct the instructions. Kudos to speedy Caron who also discovered that 100% accuracy isn't needed to find these caches. I took nothing & left the WheresGeorge stamp certificate for those cachers needing a little more time with the clarified waypoints. I also left 2 WheresGeorge bills for free tracking (please do NOT sign them).

As I headed out this morning, another car ran a light & in a squeal of rubber, almost broadsided me...would that have been a NaviCrache?

Bring your bug spray & a garbage bag; I trashed out a Jack Daniels bottle & milk carton not 20' from the cache. I'm taking the M&M Kids and their Mushroom babysitter for a visit with the Imposter.

P.S. I got to drive that SUV some time ago!

NOTE: This is not a find, just wanted to Inform everyone that I found out I was human! I made a couple of costly Typo's that sent Yardboy visiting strange and new People.
The Text on the Cache page has been corrected and is now in line. I am amazed however at how far Yardboy has made it through this one even though he had the wrong Info to go with . If not for this he would have been done a while ago =) I am sorry to him and the rest of you for the Mistake.
