This is Canada's first Geocache and is located about 30
min from Halifax on a major highway. It is not difficult
but is meant to attract people using one of our main
routes in NS. It is only a few minutes walk from the
highway and is in a 1 gallon size clear bucket. When you
you get close you will see some red marker tape on some
trees. Take some fly dope !!!

This was my first find. Took two tries. First day I ended up on the other side of the water by peggys cove.
Left a nevy key tag and took a daffy duck toy.

Really nice to know that there is some Caching history just a few Km from home.

Just discovering navicache.com but have been geocaching for two years now.
Found this cache this summer while attending the Grave's Island Geocaching Event!

Nice to find a part of caching history!

What a beautiful area for the very first geocache in Canada. Spent time going through the logs before leaving. Took a couple of buttons, left Diabetes TB.
