This is a typical ammo can cache and the first cache I have placed. The trails are wide and well marked. There are plenty of easy trails in this area frequently used by mountain bikers and people walking dogs. The cache contains: Log book, please sign in. camera, take your picture and advance film for the next cacher. (cards and marker are provided to write your geocaching name to hold in front of you when taking a picture). Joystick(game port plug) Packet of greeting cards. "Weekly world news" always good for a laugh. Compact disc(3 copies) of "9 funny songs" that I burned myself from a variety of sources. These may not all be suitable for children. Email me for song titles, authors, etc. Cache also contains tape measure, carabiner, 2 "AA" batteries, lighter, swizzle sticks, chop sticks, nike ear warmer, blank audio cassette, beer coaters, strap for GPS or binoculars etc., alien toy, gloves and a Flintstones fortune teller thing( collectable... 1960's I think) |

Definitely took a long drive around from the other Sourland cache. I thought it was odd that two different parks had such similar names. One's a reservation while the other's a preserve. I thought I could approach from the east but that road turned out to end at some kind of fancy house. Not sure if I could walk through there but it would have only been half a mile from the cache. Finally found the official parking area to the west of the cache. Distance from cache was about 0.8 mi so it wasn't so bad. From there, it was an easy walk on the wide trail going up and down some gentle slopes. Looked around for a bit and found the cache. Took the Face to Face CD. Left a keychain light and some Where's George (http://www.wheresgeorge.com) dollar bills. Thanks.
