Located In A Public Fishing and Hiking area.
This is Isabel's Treasure you are looking for. Even though you can see the coordinates posted here they will do you no good at all unless you visit ."Isabel's Part 1 of 2"cache page first. And if you have taken the time to see this little girl that has become my friend, then I am certain she can see you now as you hunt for her treasure. You will need the first three numbers she gives you to have success in this adventure. When you post on this page be certain that you do not give away any secrets that may ruin it for others. Isabel has placed many-many very nice gifts to trade with her friends in the cache. Be sure not to let her down and take only one Item and replace it with another of close value for others to enjoy. The cache is a well painted and marked .50cal ammo box. Be sure to sign the logbook and take a picture of you or your group with the single use camera included inside. This is one of the best fishing areas in the county, so bring your kids and rods along, spend plenty of time here with some snacks if you brought some. Very beautiful area as well, make sure you packed that camera because you will want it here! D.E.C are always around, so be sure that if you fish, you fish legal. The entrance to this site is well marked but tiny, so keep an eye out for the sign. And DO NOT park on a main road, your car might be towed when you get back. (stick to the parking area for this site) A downed old tree covered with moss will do you no wrong in the hunt. Parking coordinates and clues in the ecrypt section...look only if you need to! Good luck! |

Today was a bad day for me. While Isabel was gracious enough to give me the numbers, I was not able to find the cache.

Open Log: Personal use only After playing with Isabel for a bit we found the cache for her. Couldn't help some fishermen find the road they were looking for. Did find the cache. Traded 2 carabiners and a frog keychain kit for a neckalce and some money. Had a newbie first time cacher with us, Susan.

Nice hike...was a little icy, a little wet. The creek is high and flowing very fast during this current snowmelt.

Very pleasurable hunt! Absolutely try this one first before you peek at any clues... it'll be ALOT more fun. Found myself really wondering why the part 1 on the way in, and what it had to do with it :)

Found part 2 at about 12:51. Nice little multi point to start off the day. I have been getting into trouble on the first one of each trip so this was a nice change.
I took a pair of gloves and left a heavy metal olympic medal and G-buck.

I had just done the Gypsum Mine cache via an alternate route. This left me about a quarter mile from the cache, and I had done part 1 before the Gypsum Mine. But I didn't have time to do it, and decided to do it another day. As I was driving, I noticed my GPS showed I was under 500 feet away. I saw a small parking area, and walked across some railroad tracks, and back into some trees, and found the cache. I finally found the answer to why I needed the numbers. VERY CLEVER! Thanks! I swapped Wheres Georges.

Open Log: Personal use only WOW! Thanks for such a great hike! We did this one without fearless leader has he had to work. So ever sure was map guy, butterfly girl was the trail blazer and sweetie gal was in charge of snacks. I was in charge GPS set-up and squabbel resolution (all kids are tweeners). Got to within 17 feet. I spyed cache. In great shape! Took 2 fans and coin bag and left spun glass pig, necklace for Isabell (with sunshine in middle and happy faces all around, glass fish bracelet, scarecrow from a contest I judged and backstreet guy. Sorry that we took more than 2 items but tough to choose which kid gets a prize...so that's why I left so many things........Thanks for a perfect day!! Can't think of a better thing to do with the family!! DChallenged

Being Fathers Day, my daughter and son-in-law offered to join me on a cache hunt. Little did they know of my intentions to use them to distract the skeeters as I signed the log books. This short tour hit Morgan's Adventure and Isabel's 1&2 in that order. For a lack of better words Isabel's Treasure was pleasent. We spent equal time at both sites by milling around at the first staying ahead of the skeeters at the second.

Well we migrated over the creek and met some fishermen... When we got the clues and put them together we realized it was a good thing we didn't try to skip pieces of the puzzle.. so to speak.
