Balboa Park
Balboa Park is one of the many famous tourist spots in San Diego. It is easily accessed off the 163 freeway which runs through it, albeit about a couple hundred feet below the park proper.

This multicache uses waypoints which will lead you through some of the enjoyable cultural stops in the park. They are also some of the least known and visited, perhaps all but one. Perhaps you'll take a breather on a bench and simply watch the world for a moment or two.

The first waypoint is located outside one of the buildings in an area known as the hospitality houses. You can truly experience a great variety of cultures here. The address of the building in question is composed of three digits.
ABC = the address on the building
D = B + C
E = B - C
The coordinates of the second waypoint using the previous equates is

N 32° 43.9D4
W 117° 08.9E3
This waypoint is located in front of one of the many museums in Balboa Park. It is possible to get a museum pass at the visitors/info center (located just across the boulevard from this museum, as a matter of fact) which will get you access to all the museums for one price. The third waypoint is generated using the following .
ABCD = the four-digit address on the building
E = B - A
F = the four digits of the address added together
The coordinates of the third waypoint using the previous equates is
N 32° 43.9CC
W 117° 08.8BF
This area is filled with many fascinating shops to visit. Enjoy the varied works you'll find here. The fourth waypoint can be generated using the following equates.
A = the digits of the two-digit number on the sign added together
B = the single-digit number on the sign
C = A + B + 2
The coordinates of the fourth waypoint using the previous equates is
N 32° 43.ACC
W 117° 08.9BA
Spend a little time touring this building if you're here during its open hours and enjoy the nearby reflective pond. The cache coordinates are calculated as follows.
AB = the two-digit number on the nearby sign
C = single digit number on the same sign
D = B + 2
E = C + D
The coordinates of the cache using the previous equates is
N 32° 43.4EC
W 117° 09.ABD
This microcache is a 35MM film canister located in another relaxing area of Balboa Park. It's easy to forget to experience your surroundings when you live so close, so make a point to do it today!

NOTE: There is no need to trample any plant life. The cache is not located in any plant areas. Everyone can access this cache. And remember to bring a pen!
