Cache is one of SIX in Green Lakes State Park near Syracuse. park in the camping area and follow trail system (maps available at park office)to near yellow trail junction with red trail. good luck.

Once in the trees my GPS level of accuracy dropped significantly. However had enough to see the logical hiding spot.

We had to take the balloon in for inspection today so we made the best out of a very
miserable wet soggy day. We could have found this cache much quicker had I entered the
correct coordinates into the GPS!!! So after being off 1.25 miles for an hour, we poked in the
right numbers and found the cache within a reasonable amount of time...EXCELLENT spot...
Almost made for Geocaching!! We took the parachute guy and left some glitter bracelets. We
dropped off a travelbug in this cache as well. Thank you for an exciting memorable hunt.

This was our 6th cache in this area today. Batteries quit just before finding this one but we were in the vicinity and found the cache based on the description. Left nothing, took nothing. Glad we had a chance to revisit this park. We will definitely be back.
