Located in First Landing State park in Virginia.

This is the FIRST EVER cache placed by Team GeoMurph! Located off one of the hiking trails in the park. Total hike should be about 1 1/2 miles. Contents include 2 wheresgeorge dollars, a whistle, a box of crayons, a box of water-proof matches, 2 AA batteries. Take your photo with the camera and PLEASE sign the log. A clear Ziplock container with a blue lid.
There are several ways into this park. Where you enter is up to you. I like the Shore Drive entrance. Watch out for the sticker bushes!

Could not find. I could get no closer than about 40 ft from ANY direction without running into water. I will try again on another day and see if the water level has lowered any.

Found the cache in a real neat hiking area. This is probably the prettiest trail in the park, and is well documented. Stop at the Vistor Center first for a guide pamphlet. Thanks for the adventure.. Cache is in good shape.

Took the lottery scratch off and left a boatswain's lanyard and pipe. Cache is in good condition, but beware of the mosquitoes!!! We had on bug spray but these must be the new super breed mosquito that is impervious to any attempt to ward them off. Nice cache though. My husband and I made a day of cache hunting in the park and had a blast. Thanks!

Visiting from New Jersey. I'd actually been on this trail last year but it's nice to revisit. After a walk of moderate length, we arrived in the vicinity of the cache. You're not kidding about the sticker bushes but the cache was an easy bag once I took a look around and found the best way in. Traded travel bugs. Thanks.

Found it without much trouble today. Had two first time cachers with us and think they are hooked! We came to this one from Houdini.

Sunny and 70 so a great day for a cache hunt.

Been to the park several times and even have a cache of my own in there, but must admit never been down this particular trail. Passed a group of folks on their way out of the park all carrying GPS's so may have beat us to it.

Found the area pretty easily, but once you leave the trail it gets a little tricky (or should I say prickly). Definately need to take care if you bring the little ones as I always do. In fact it was my 8 year old who spotted it just after I warned him to stay put due to the briars.

Took the Ammo Cord and left the Harry Potter stickers and Precious Baby Feet pin.

**Note: Found a Pentax camera lens cover on the ground near cache that apparently was dropped by someone before us. Placed it in the cache so you know where to find it :)

Found this using the clue right after it was placed. The area is quite briar-y. Missed being first by an hour. Placed a travel item that has since gone missing.
