Comments:
I believe the road to this cache is unsuitable in the winter.

We have not implemented maps outside of the U.S.A. ... YET!

This cache is hidden part way over the Hardknott pass in the Lake District.

The cache is a little way from the road but the drive to it is the interesting part. The road over the two passes is a fantastic drive.

I wouldn't recommend this in the winter unless your on foot. If you are on foot please take the proper precautions for walking in the hills.

Please don't park in the passing places. There is a pull off area close to the cache location.

An easy enough find once I had climbed down from the top of the large rock that I should not have gone up.

The log book is damp and starting to mould, could do with maintenance visit.

Wow a FTF and after nearly 3 years. Cache was in good condition with only a few teaspoons of water at the base although the log book was slightly damp. Superb location near the top of the pass. Stopped and cooked my supper while enjoying the views across Mossedale. Come on folks its worth the trip!
