If you’re an Aussie or know any Aussies living in/visiting Philly this will bring a smile of recognition

Not a sculpture you would expect to find tucked away in a courtyard in Philadelphia.

Skippy (& friend) are a long way from home!!

I was wondering if this would be hidden or not, but the approach I came from had some sun reflection to help me zero in. Thanks for the nice Virtual.

2809. Stopped by on the way to meet my troop at summer camp, up at Ockinickon. Had OCUS, TC, and NC caches loaded to hit along the way. I was able to drive right up to it and snap a pic from the car. Glad to see it was still here, after all these years.

Wonder what they ARE doing here. Thanks and Happy Trails!

This was my first Geocache find ever! It was also very easy since I work about five blocks (.5 miles) from the site and I knew what and where it was the moment I read the heading. Very nice quick spot to visit out of the bustle of the city. Thanks.

<vbg> Had read about this sculpture while still living in Oz, tried finding it during visits to Philly but didn't have much luck until one day we were driving through Philly & saw that a synagogue was having a flea mkt. Being the crazed book lovers we are ;-), we stopped..... & wouldn't you know it, there was the sculpture just sitting there in the laneway alongside the synagogue. 10/12/03 We were in Philly for a festival & to do some shopping in Chinatown so stopped by to try to find the sculpture again. Would love to know more about the sculpture.
