Located in Letchworth State Park. Terrain difficult depends on how you approach the cache. Probably children should not attempt. Container is a regular size ammo box. It isn't too hard to find. The fun part is getting to it. Have fun and be sure to take a picture of yourself and put the camera back in the box. Tell me what number the camera was on when you clicked the button. |

Open Log: Personal use only From reports at the other geocaching site we realized that we were not going to find this one. It has been confirmed that the cache is underwater as of Sunday. We decided to hike the area anyway, wanted to see how high the water was. It was interesting to see the high water marks on the reeds! Walked the main trail a lot farther than we needed to - had the GPS zoomed out and didn't realize how far we went. Backtracked to the top of a cliff and then finally down to the water's edge. Spent about 3 hours hiking in this area. The ground is very wet in places and the hills are definitely not easy. Enjoyed our time there. Hope you find the cache.

Open Log: Personal use only Definitly went the wrong way on this one. Got within 150 feet from cache and couldnt go any farther. Had to backtrack the whole way. Went all the way around, "To the bottem." Finally located cache. Was in bad shape, "all" the contents where frozen, log book was water logged (no other entries) Took Binoculars (dont think they work) and left 2 chem lites. Recomend this one for Hardcore cachers only!! Very nice senic overlooks though. Thanks for the very challenging, risk taking adventure. Like to see more difficult ones like this.
