I placed this cache in an area just down the street from my daughters pre-school.
Lot's of folks with dogs in the area and some pretty decent views (yes, it's uphill)

Wear some long pants and some reasonable shoes. You don't need to "bushwhack" in the traditional sense, but the cache isn't exactly sitting in the middle of the path.

Initially Included in my little Clue Stick.

Finders forms + Geocaching letter.

Perfect Storm paperback

Small cable lock + keys

Located at: N37 55.334 W122 17.959 at approximately 488' elevation. I second an earlier finder's comment that the coordinates were a little tricky possibly due to tree cover; we used a pair of crossing vectors from about 180' away to find it. We have pictures to add later.

Cache was found at base of large eucalyptus tree, on the north side, amongst some serious poison oak. An ant colony has set up house underneath it, so one must brush or knock or scrape off many tiny ants. The can has been leaking; there was a small amount of water inside and it was musty. We emptied out the water and wiped it out as best as we could. We tried to position the lid/gasket at closing for optimal contact, hopefully that will help.

The cassette tapes are still there and will probably remain there for a long time; other original items have been swapped out, with a significant number of little toys. My son selected a mini-slinky and placed in a small ogre Lego toy.

This was our first cache and we had a really great time. Thank you so much!

Nice hike with a great view of the sun setting behind Mt. Tam. Cache is sitting out in the open. TNLN thanks
