Placed this cache while vacationing in Italy. This little town is famous for its connection with G. Carducci, a Nobel Prize winning author for Literature from Italy. His family is buried here and needless to say, this little town is very proud of its connection to him. There is a statue of his grandmother (nonna) in the town square.
Very picturesque town, high up on a mountaintop. Stop and have a gelatto and look out over the vast grape vineyards below.

Found this lovely place. I live in Tuscany but for me is always a great pleasure go back there.
