Pumpkin Princess and I found our first geocache on 12/30/00 and placed our first cache the following day. We recently had to remove and archive that first cache but we've helped it to live on by placing all of the treasures and mementos from it into this new cache. We've also added the items from another recently archived cache and added a whole lot of new items and a new logbook as well. This new cache is stuffed. It's a little more difficult to find than our original one, but hopefully the location is just as interesting.

2nd of 5 tonight with Queen Fisher and Lowracer. Nice easy find. It's amazing how much easier they are in the daylight! TNLN 7:47 p.m.

Thanks! Big Mo

Took the trail I discovered near NTGA Leftovers to within a few hundred feet of the cache. Bushwhacked around in the dead cedar branches a while until I found it. Found my way back to the parking lot, but wasn't sure I was going the right way due to a slightly confused muggle (who had just walked around the loop) telling me it was the other direction. Thanks for the adventure!

Found it after hitting Emma is a Goth Goddess. My fiance' was with me this time... her third find and our first time in this great park! I live so close, too... I can't believe I've passed this up for so long!

T - smiley stamp and stuffed smiley (fiance' was in a very good mood!)
L - Beavis & Butthead Virtual Stupidity CD ROM Game (much fun!)

Great cache in a great park. The signs pointed to the lower trail. So I took the long way around. Lost signal alot today. I was planning on getting another cache in the park but I got back to the truck just in time to miss being caught in a hail storm.

Stopped by today and picked this up as the last of 5 for today. I pretty much missed the trails and bushwhacked all the way from Rojelio's recycled cache. This is a cool spot but a little difficult to get to with the dense cedar. Took nothing and can't remember what I left. As I got up to leave I ran into 4 new cachers out here for their first find. I was able to sneak far enough away so I wasn't right on the cache before they spotted me. I know they found it though because as I was walking away I heard them laughing about someone using the name Dogbong to log their finds. Hopefully they will become regulars to geocaching. Thanks for the adventure. Wayne

Found it! This was my first cache, and it was a blast. I'm definitely hooked! My friends and I met fellow Geocache hunter Wayne (can't remember his navicache ID) on the way to this cache. Wayne gave us the coords to Uncle Rojelio's Recycled Cache which was nearby, and we found that one as well! Thanks Wayne! From PP01, we took the blue toy binoculars, the suction cup lizard, and the mini Coleman lantern. We left a Batman action figure, a Hawkgirl action figure that was the prize from a Subway kid's meal, and a homemade Gingerbread man, complete with gumdrop buttons! No need to worry about animals finding the gingerbread man, as that little guy is vacuum-sealed tight as a drum. Thanks Pumpkin Princess!

What a neat way to celebrate your geocaching anniversary, to place a new cache for us! The cache is nice area, just watch out for all the juniper branches! I'm still digging twigs and needles out of my shirt collar and such! TNTL, TxHiPowr PS. Someday, I'll have to come back and explore the trail system here more thoroughly.
