Winston Woods offers a maze of trails thru a nice forest. The cache is located less than 20 feet off an established trail, but the terrain near the cache site might be a little difficult, depending on which way you approach it.
The cache is a 2.8L camo-painted Rubbermaid container. There is a small keychain digital camera (with software & cable) as a FTF prize, and a dog toy for the first canine to find it. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENTER THE PARK FROM THE WEST...that would be trespassing. Parking is available on Winston Drive. |

I really enjoyed this park today, and I think this was the 4th cache for me here. Strangely, I had no problems making the find despite the recent snow fall. Extracting the container from its snowy cocoon was fun, and I ended up TNLNSL.

Open Log: Personal use only Found this one with my dog in the rain. Great little park for a wet walk as the canopy is full and acted like an umbrella. Had to scramble up at the end but not problem. Took TB (Buzz) and dog toy; left key chain. TFTC
