This is a two stage virtual cache. Background: This is one of my favorites parts of this park and it has lots a great places to hide a cache. BUT... it also has several problems. 1. High Security (especially since 9-11) 2. Lots of people So I have made it a virtual cache. I also added a preceding waypoint/stage/leg to add a little difficulty to it. Stage 1 has the coordinates to stage 2. Stage 2 has the years for a specific event; 1898 to what year? Please e-mail me with that year in order to confirm your find. Parking is free on Sundays and evenings after 6pm for both stages. Otherwise you will need quarters for parking. Neither stage will require an entrance fee. Nothing is buried or hidden under any sticks, fallen trees, or rock piles. There should be no need to turn over any rocks. |

Open Log: Personal use only The last of four for the day. Two neat areas tucked away in well-known parks in Sacramento. Thanks for the effort on this one, especially the first clue, which we walked past about 10 times before we got it!
