Cache is at Jorden lake off of Hwy 751 north of the bridge over lake. At the site of the 2002 Father's Day Memorial Cache

This Cache replaced the 2002 Father's Day Memorial Cache. The cache is an ammo box painted black with a white top. We are in a very bad drought as I place the cache as for the name. The cache starts out with a boat theme, as if you can find water to float a boat, I know it will not remain that way so feel free to leave any thing you want in it.
You may visit the Memorial page by clicking here.

The cache is on NC Gamelands, so be sure to wear orange if caching during hunting season.

I found it! 23 Aug 2004 by  The Alethiometrists  (Finds: 8  Score: 32)    (Hidden: 0  Score: 0)

A long walk through some cool woods, a target-rich hide area under heavy canopy for a bit of a search at the end of it... This is the sort of cache that got me into geocaching in the first place. So, thanks for it. Found it at dusk, on my way home from work. Took a Nittany Dave signature keychain, left one of our new Alethiometrist 'Bumble Buttons,' a toy monster truck, and five pence (British coin). Did a lot of CITO on the way out, passed a couple nocturnal fishermen who probably thought I was nuts, with my arms full of trash.
