Since I was visiting the Lilac Festival, I decided to tackle 3 out of the 4 caches in the area. This one was the first. The day had cleared up and the park was spralling with people and pets. I had brought my mountain bike with me to make the task easier. I found this nice hide pretty quickly. The squirrel the roams the area was no where in sight (THANK GOD!!) I signed the logbook. Bearcub wasn't with me this time around but he was here in spirit. Now on to my second cache....

Last of the 3 Highland Park caches today. I have to say, I've driven by the park many times on South Ave. but the terrain I encountered was much more "rugged" than I expected. I'm guessing some of the hills are manmade though? Traded a carbiner for a travel toothbrush and paste. THERE WAS A METAL DETECTORIST IN THE AREA, he didn't see me or what I was doing, but he was still scouring about when I left. You may want to check on this cache soon. Thanks.

2nd of the day. Came with JH. Nice hide, there was some guy washing his car on the main road, probably wondered what we were up to (I wondered what he was up to!) Found it without any trouble, fall is so beautiful, this park has some great views!

Out caching with MrMom, the Goo and Junglehair. We were caching into the wee hours of the morning when we found this one. Nice park. But why was that car pakred in the dark part of the road with two people in it?

The rain stopped so I did too. Clever use of the antique plate.

Found it at 9AM. Had to look around a bit especially now that most of the leaves are off the trees in this area. Saw JF nearby. Left our sticker.
