Comments:
This is a location with a checkered history. I lived a few hundred feet from here when 440 was being built, so I got to live through it. Originally 440 was going to be a parkway, cars only, but the trucking lobby squelched that idea quickly. And we were promised several small parks with playgrounds, but this was the only one that lasted into the final phases of planning. And as you can see no playground was ever built here. There was a parking area for a while, but "undesirable" activities that occurred there caused it to be blocked off. For a while there was talk of moving Nashville's Civil War monument here, but it turned out to be too heavy, so it's a few blocks away now.

A great cache makes for a creative hide. Where did that thing come from? Coordinates could use some adjusting; I was out in the middle of nowhere, also. Took nothing. Left a Gold Dollar.
