We looked for a place to put our first cache
We wanted somewhere special to put our first stash

We looked high and low, we looked near and far
We wanted some place special, but not too bizarre

We drove all around, looking for a location
We found the perfect place, a nice destination!

We planted our cache and typed out this short rhyme
We hope that you'll find it, it shouldn't take much time.

It is a short hike, that much is true.
We made this one simple, for our debut!

So head on out to the cache of cran-berry
and when you find it we hope you'll be merry!

This is located near Cranberry Pond off of the Parkway. Do not park on the road!! It is both dangerous and illegal, there are two parking places, the closest is located at N43 17.423, W077 42.573 on Lowden Point Rd. You could also park at Braddock Bay Park and walk over from there.

This cache is in a standard ammo box green in color. The cache is located less then 100 feet from a trail. There are many birds in and around this area, you never know what you might see or hear. Take the time to listen as you walk along the trails.

We finally made it back to this cache after turning back last time. There were hunters in the area, and we didn't feature getting shot. The only elements to contend with this time were mud and skeeters, but we didn't let them get the best of us. My 4 year old grandson found the cache, so he was delighted. Swapped items and got out of there before the bugs carried us off. Thanks for the fun.

A tough cache to find. The trail was quite hard to follow at times. We tried to veer off the trail a few times, and ended up at some wet areas. A lot of zigzaging, but a nice area for nature, duckhouses, and geese flying overhead.
We took a toy game, and handwarmer, and left a jimmy neutron toy, a toy car, and a hat.

Did this one int he rain today as it is not far from our house. Dixiedog was really happy to get to go on such a nice hike. I have been thinking about putting a cache there, but you beat me to it......maybe a night cache......I'll have to work on that. We took nothing but left a Garmin cupholder. Thanks for the nice cache.

Found it at 10:55 AM. Nice walk to the cache. It was a little difficult picking out the trail in the woods. Took nothing, left nothing.

Today was our first time out. After failing to find the "Message in a bottle" we went on to try this one. Success! After starting off going down the wrong trail we found our way to the correct area then looked around when we couldn't go any farther. Signed the log and took pictures. Left a miniature fireman's helmet we got at a collectible show and took nothing. Thank you.
BTW the trail we went down first was quite interesting anyway.
