The cache container is not at the published coordinates. Please don't poke, prod, fold, spindle, or mutilate the fountain (or anything else, for that matter) looking for an Altoids tin under the cement umbrella. (There's not an Altoids tin under the umbrella.

While driving by this location after doing some Winder-area caches, AndymanD was struck by the name of the marker at the above coordinates.

We placed this cache because we think it's kind of sad that so many people just drive by these locations without even stopping to read what's on these signs. But even some who read the signs just tend to ignore the words on the signs as if they were useless garbage -- and they're really not! That (mis!)behavior just sets us off.

Please be respectful of this historic location.

By the way, if being inside a cemetery gives you the creeps, know that you don't have to go in to find the cache.

Found this one with my son some time ago (on another site). Hope it counts. Feel free to delete log is you wish. Really a neat spot!

Drove right to site without a hitch. Read ..read again and then re-read the Historical marker. Read every other marker around the area. Went to cemetery and read some more. Walked some...Talk to myself for a while and left with out finding the micro cache. I'm new at this. This was only my third attempt to find a cache. I can't imagine where it was. I may go back sometime and try again.

Thanks , XRay
