There was a traditional cache here, but it was plundered several times, so I turned it into a virtual. I chose this spot to get you into the heart of the Riverwalk where there are so many neat things to see.
The original was under some bushes by a wooden fence.
To get credit for this cache, send me an email with the answer to this question--What do you see when you look behind the fence and the stone wall, across the river?
The difficulty rating is because you will probably have trouble with your GPS signal because of all the tall buildings.
On your way to see this cache, you will notice a huge orange sculpture that was a gift from Mexico. It is called the Torch of Friendship. The locals either love it or hate it. What do you think about it?

Catching up logs from the other site. Found this one 12/17/05 and emailed owner at that time.

Picked a good time to do this one. A youth Choir was performing nearby so I was treated to some nice entertainment whilst caching.
Heavily traveled area so I certainly see how a regular cache could have issues here.
Thanks for bringing me over this way as I was on a very limited time schedule today and may not have come this way otherwise.
As for the big orange art object....it was nice.....but I did think it was out of place for this otherwise very traditional looking area and not a place for such a modern artsy kind of thing. That would have looked better over in Hemisfair Park. ....just my 2 cents.
Thanks again, ....emailed answers.
