This one is in another part of the Mary Moore Searight Park off of slaughter. while you are there check out the 2 other caches in the park They are about .5 miles away in the old section of the park.

The name says it all. I filled the cache with nerf balls of all shapes and sizes and some super balls. Although this is not a theme cache I would not mind if people traded nerf products only. I filled the cache with brand new balls still in the wrapper. Please trade up or at least equal. Finding old golf balls and sprinkler heads in a cache is no fun for the next person.

Just a note on the terrain. It will get tricky to get to the cache. Some climbing is required but no equipment is needed. Remember that tarantulas are not poisonous in Central Texas just scary looking. If you have spent any time out in the wilderness in CentTex you know that tarantulas are very common around creek beds along rocky cliffs. Just keep your eyes open when looking for this one.

This was our 2nd find ever. Just got our unit yesterday. We went after work, hit an easier cache on the way to this one, and got to this about an hour before dark. We had a lot of fun crossing the creek. Had some trouble finding the cache, then started frantically searching as it was getting darker. Left a nerf type ball that we bought at Albertson's on the way and took a small pack of colored pencils.

Good grief! This is the most adventurous geocache I've done on a lunch "hour" ever! It was also the first time on a lunchhour cachehunt that the thought has crossed my mind that "If I slip and break my leg right here NO ONE will ever find me!

This one was way too much fun to do with the Geo Crew!
We are now girls 2 and 3 on the finds! We had a bit of fun crossing back an forth across the creek. I fell in, yes, I did! Slipped and cracked my elbow, too. Definitely got poisen ivy, definitely! Almost fell backwards off a cliff and this is all Grajek's fault, you know. I got scratches galore! This was definitely one of my favorite finds and favorite views. This one is so tricky, watch your compass! Oh yeah and some GPS's float and some don't ,but good dogs always fetch! Thanks to Choco for a great find!

Very tricky! First I was on the wrong side of the creek. Next I was at the wrong altitude. But after close encounters with spiders, snakes, dogs, slippery rocks, cactus, and barbed-wire... I found it!

There is no pen in the container (and I forgot mine) so I used a nail to scratch a note in the logbook. Someone else scratched a note before me so I may not be the First-To-Find. But it is my first NaviCache find.

Took: Super Ball
Left: new "Whoopee Cushion" and nerf-globe

(It's easy to trade equal when everything has a price-tag!)

Well, thorax, what did you learn tonight?

Well,
-green rocks don't make very good places to step
-vines with thorns on them hurt sometimes
-rotten branches don't hold very well
-you really shouldn't look down from that far up
-when four big dogs make a semicircle around you and start bearing their teeth and licking their chops, you can look crazy enough to make them move back, and still spook their owners who are running about 10 minutes behind them..
-BUT especially I learned that when grajek says its a 3/4, he means it....
I don't get beat very often, but if I had to get beat, at least it was by one of the best....
