This cache may be a bit more difficult in seasons that are very wet, add one degree of difficulty to the terrain.

This cache is located in Cedarwood Recreation Area in the northern end of Pine Island State Forest. During wet seasons, add one degree to the difficulty rating. ATV's are allowed in this area.

The Location. Cedarwood Meadows is public recreation land just south of the Canadian border. Some topo maps show this cache located in a small part of the Red Lake Indian Reservation, however, I assure you that this area is for public use.

Parking. Turn south from MN Highway 11 on to Koochiching County Road 4 at the Frontier Boat Landing. Take Farmer's Road (vicinity N 48*39.39374 / W 094*16.754) until you reach a picnic area (vicinity N 48*35.906 / W 094*16.754).

The Cache.The cache is located approximately 1/2 mile from the picnic area, and 50' from the established trail. The cache container is a larger PVC pipe construction.
