This is the final cache in a series of three historical caches. We hope you enjoyed the trip!
To locate this cache you can either drive, bike or walk. There are a couple of nice places to eat nearby. Plus, you can look out over the water and imagine seeing French allies approaching. According to the sign, what exactly was under siege in 1781? Please e-mail us your answer, don't post it in the log! |

Found this one in July, but just signed up here. I have been in this area quite a few times for meetings, long before I knew what geocaching was. Nice to come back and look at things from a different perspective. I looked at things from a "higher" prospective as well!

Open Log: Personal use only Found this cache on our way back from Jamestown. We are visiting family in the area and they stopped to show us this area. When we saw where they were taking us and turned on the GPS we realized we were at the spot of our focal point for cache searches for the week! Sent an e-mail to the owner with the info required.

Visiting from New Jersey for the week so I'm hitting the area caches. Never did find the proper entrance to this area as there were many one-way streets and Main St was closed to traffic. It was just as easy to park nearby and walk in though

Very interesting cache in a lovely area. Originally logged this cache on the date found through the other website. After this cache, we had lunch at a nice establishment just down the street. Thanks for the fun!
