The coordinates given are the starting point in the town of Bethel CT, and not the cache itself.A compass is required and a trail map would be handy. It's about a one mile hike each way, mostly uphill, but not too steep, and a good clear trail most of the way.

The start point is post #5 "buried fibre optic cable" between utility poles 702 and 703. Take a magnetic bearing of 305 degrees, and you will see a rock face just above the tree line. Binoculars helpful.Your destination is to get on top of this rock face 0.43 mile distant. You can not get there from here, and do not attempt to climb straight up! Info about this area is at CTPATH.ORG
Locate fire pit at the top of this rock outcropping, and enjoy the view. Caution, bee's encountered just before pit.
