The cache is hidden near the ruins of the old castle,
at N 50° 31.655, E 005° 49.382.

The cache is a Tupperware box with an orange lid.
It contains some interesting goodies for trading, and of course a logbook and a pencil (do not trade!).

One of my caches of today in Belgium. And a wonderful one! Something was going on on this castle today. Some people I have seen were dressed in medieval clothes. Some of them were shooting with ancient weapons. The big bangs are still ringing in my ears!!! Of course I visited the castle inside. That was a very nice tour, thanks for it!

We found the Cache easily. It is a nice Cache location but it was raining while we search for the Cache.

Fantastic Location. We love those historic Places. The Cache was easy to find.
Ein wunderbar verwunschener Ort, diese Ruine Franchimont. Der Cache war leicht zu finden, ist in gutem Zustand, auch wenn die Dose nicht durch Plastiktüten geschützt ist.

leider sah die Umgebeung des Kastells
sehr schlimm aus, man merkte, dass vor einiger Zeit dort eine Fest stattgefunden hat. Und nun der Regen, es war trostlos.
Der Cache war gut zu finden.
Leider ist mir meine Buchhaltung bzgl.
rein : raus :
abhanden gekommen. Ich weis nicht mehr was ich wo
getauscht habe. Aber im Log ist es eingetragen.

Here we had to search more then 10 minutes to find it...But then with a good nose we found the right tree...

Just 150m to go from parking. We were first to explore this cache, quickly found near the beautiful ruin. After caching we entered the castle which is really interesting, especially the stairs down to the casemates. Entry is 3 € for adults.
