Wow! Just when I thought I had run out of new and unique places to put caches, I stumbled upon this area. It is a Wildlife Management Area. The animals are more active at night, so you may want to time your visit in the late afternoon. However, you can see the animals no matter what time you go.
Parking lot is at 30-05.880, 098-49.196. Container is one of the camo boxes Moosiegirl got at the auction. Be sure to cover it back up just like you found it. Can't remember what I put in there, so you'll have to go find out. Mosquito repellant is a MUST! Lots of standing water. |

I wasn't expecting the nature trails and the loooong walk, C-Cat. And I was just about to decide the Cache Creep had muggled the d***ed thing, when I spotted it. I did it the hard way coming in, but realized that I was with in feet of the trail after I got there. Left 3 TBs: Chipper, which is only a dog tag, Niniff, the Dragon and Derby Dog. N30 05.878 W98 49.200, XNSL. Thanks.

This is the second time we've been to this well hidden attraction. We timed our arrival perfectly, totally by chance of course. we walked around in a few circles until we realized the coordinates were a little off Ha. Then we headed down the trail to hunt for the treasure. I have one thing to say about where the cache is hidden OUCH cedar trees have teeth. I won't give away any more clues than that, but I do suggest going on a cool day. by the time we made it out we looked liked drowned rats. Our dogs had a really good time checking out all the neat smells, and seemed to fair better than we did. The cache is in excellent condition.
